One-to-One Dog Training
Puppy and Adult Dog Training
Dog Behaviour Training
I provide professional and bespoke one-to-one dog training for puppies, adult and senior dogs in the comfort of your own home. I work with you to create a specific programme suited to your dog’s needs and requirements.
My training covers a wide variety of day-to-day issues you might experience with your dog including:
• House and toilet training
• Out and about socialisation
• Handling and lead walking
• Puppy biting
Working with your dog’s natural instincts and breed characteristics, I can help you train your dog to become a well-behaved and loving family member. I believe that best results can be achieved in a stress free and positive training environment, which is enjoyable for both you and your dog.
Based in South London, I am happy to work with dogs and owners in SE1, SE5, SE11, SW4, SW19 and SW14 (Kennington, Lambeth, Vauxhall, Pimlico, Waterloo, Bankside, Borough, South Bank, Bermondsey and London Bridge) areas of London.
I have full public liability insurance, am DBS (formerly CRB) checked and am also trained in Dog First Aid.

We asked Jacqui to help us with Fergus, our then four-month old Border Terrier/Poodle Cross who was the usual puppy mixture of delight and nightmare. Four weeks later he is toilet trained (98%!), comes when called and walks well on the lead. Jacqui is completely professional but at the same time very friendly and approachable and I would recommend her without hesitation.

Jacqui’s experience, diligence and natural affinity with dogs really shows. She is renowned in our local area as the “go to” doggie person.

I had wanted a dog for years but, left to my own limited experience found it almost impossible to pick the right breed for my personality, my lifestyle and my living environment (an apartment in central London).
I didn’t fully appreciate when first meeting and talking to Jacqui how much of the enjoyment I could potentially have from my new dog rested firmly with me and not my new puppy.
Like many people in this internet age, I’d looked at plenty of Youtube videos covering dog training with the misguided thought that I could train my puppy through that medium. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t work out terribly successfully.
However, from our first free consultation, Boo (my puppy) developed a respectful bond with Jacqui and, to my surprise, clearly enjoyed the process of being trained – there is an awful lot of tail wagging going on. I’d given up on getting to get Boo go to shake paws – Jacqui had her doing this in the first 5 minutes.
Jacqui’s approach to positive dog training isn’t “one-size-fits-all”. A combination of discussing your needs and her knowledge of dog behaviour will result in you both agreeing an itinerary over a set number of sessions to train your new dog to be a great companion, family member and remove the stress that an untrained dog can create to the uninitiated owner/family.
Having separately tried group training, I’d certainly recommend one-on-one training with Jacqui – where you and Jacqui are both training your dog using Jacqui’s excellent and fun expertise to be the dog you always wanted.

From the minute Sidney met her, I knew that she had a special connection with animals, her wisdom, calmness and patience have certainly paid dividends as he grows from puppyhood to adolescence – he is learning very quickly how to conduct himself in most circumstances and with a few more sessions, I am convinced we will have the best behaved dog on the block! Thanks Jacqui.
