Based in London, I am a ‘Clever Dog Company Method, Licensed Trainer’, having also completed ‘Think Dog’ practical & intermediate courses.
I completed my dog instructor training with internationally renowned pet behaviour specialist, Sarah Whitehead (BA, MSC). Her training method, which promotes a bespoke model of one-to-one training, has enabled me to learn and discover more about the techniques and skills to train puppies, older or rehomed dogs and those who need to work on a special area of management control.
I have worked with dogs for over 7 years offering walking, daycare, and boarding services – an experience that I have found invaluable. It has given me a real interest into how dogs learn, behave and interact with each other.
I strongly believe in training, which uses positive reinforcement as well as science-based, force-free methods that are fun for both dogs and owners.
It is never too late to start training your new puppy or dog; so if you would like to improve your dog’s behaviour or address a particular issue through training, now is the time to contact me.Contact Jacqui
What’s In A Name?
You may be wondering, why the name Puss ‘N’ Pooch?
When I started out in business back in 2011, my main service was dog walking. I also provided daycare and pet-sitting in South London, which included taking care of some of our feline friends.
Later, I qualified as a dog trainer and specialised in dog behaviour and training, focusing 100% on one-to-one training with puppies and adult dogs. My services may have changed to dog training – but the Puss ‘N’ Pooch name (and logo!) had such history and reputation that I decided to keep it.
Who knows, maybe one day cats will evolve to be ‘trainable’…or, on second thoughts, maybe not!
